Aron Andras & the Black Circle Orchestra
András Áron, Artisjus and two-time Fonogram award-winning performer and songwriter’s big-band project is the ‘Black Circle Orchestra’, which he launched in the summer of 2020 after a long break. He performs his usual country and blues-sounding solo songs, now supplemented with more instruments, with an even more colorful soundscape together with renowned musicians such as the singer Barbara Schoblocher of the band Blahalouisiana and keyboardist Máté Pénzes, the rhythm section of The Qualitons band Ernő Hock and Levente Boros, as well the guitarist of the band The Pontiac, Péter Kiss.
The name of the versatile singer-guitarist is well known in the hungarian music scene, people know him from LAZARVS, Trillion or his solo productions. His first independent album ‘Feathers, Black Flowers’ was released in 2010. In 2016 he made a grand return with ‘Foxes’ his LP. In 2018 his material called ‘Stranger’ was released, and in the fall of 2020 – during the quarantine – his fourth LP, ‘Book of Changes’, debuted. In the summer of 2021, he released the recording of the live album called ‘Changes’, already supplemented with the orchestra, for which a concert film was also made in the Zengőkert Studio.
