Bluestone

Blue-Stone, or Blues-Tone? - a play on words, but also a reference to the band’s founder, András “Stone“ Kőmíves . Bluestone started in spring 2014. The group’s repertoire includes compositions by black and white artists of different eras, known and unknown and lesser-known blues (or blues-related) songs, twisted and rearranged. In spring 2015, the band released a private edition of “Live at Muzikum“, which also featured “guitar magician“ Tibor Tátrai on some of the songs. At the beginning of 2021, with the joining of singer János Vasicsek “Öcsi“, the renewed band will continue unbroken what it started 7 years ago: that is, to promote the genre and keep it alive.
