RAW HIDE BAND

One of the oldest R’n’B bands in Europe was founded in 1982 in Belgrade, Serbia.

During it’s more than 40 years long career, they became the leading band of the Belgrade blues family. The first EP “ALL NIGHT LONG” was released in 1987 with four numbers of their own. Second EP “NO PLACE TO GO” followed in 1991. From 1988 the band started to perform regulary in Europe and the festivals and clubs – Italy, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Spain, Romania, Switzerland, Slovakia, Russia… Backed up Louisiana Red, Todor Todorovic, Dave Kelly, Ronald Abrams, Gary Sloan, Keith Dunn, Sven Zetterberg, Terry Evans and shared the stage with Junior Wells, Johnny Mars, Magic Slim, Nine Below Zero, Larry Gardener… 1994 released CD “HUGGER MUGGER” with seven original numbers. 1997 CD “GYPSY MOON” with eight originals. 2012. double CD “DON’T COUNT MY DAYS” with three original tunes.. The band plays Chicago R’n’B ‘50s covers, and their own songs with a touch of West Coast and funk-blues. This year the band celebrated 40 years of existence.
