The Pontiac

The band The Pontiac, which is moving from blues to melodic rock, started in 2017. Their first material was written in English and was much more rooted in the blues tradition, they switched to Hungarian in 2020, and this change also affected music. Among the native songs, it was clearly The Only Beautiful One that was the breakthrough, whether we look at the popularity measured on the video-sharing site or the several weeks of appearances on the Hungarian top chart of Petőfi radio. In addition to the festival performances, the band toured as a backing band for Margaret Island and Blahalouisiana.
